St. Stephen Deacon and Martyr Catholic Church in Tinley Park, Illinois welcomes those visiting our parish website. Whatever brings you here - whether you are a current parish household, are new to the area, are exploring parishes, or have been away for awhile -  we  invite you to aquaint yourself with St. Stephen Deacon and Martyr parish.

Located in the southwest quadrant of Tinley Park, St. Stephen is a vibrant community of parishioners, representing nearly 4,000 households. Started in November 1999, St. Stephen parish has grown as the community around us has been developed. Many of our parishioners have been with us on our faith journey since the parish opened. Others have joined along the way.

As a parish we strive to be a prayerful, welcoming, Christ-centered community with a common vision: all of life is God’s gift to us and we seek to live our lives in gratitude for those gifts. We seek to live as disciples of Jesus by valuing prayer and worship and by living love for others as Jesus taught us. In gratitude, we seek to give back joyfully a portion of our God given gifts of time, talent, and treasure.
