All incoming first, second, third, fourth, and fifth grade students are invited to attend summer bible camps throughout the summer, hosted by Ms. Kimberly Gabryel (Sluis).
We are offering two day and five day camps. Please see the descriptions below.
Themed Educational Two-Day Camps Offered:
June 13 & 14 - Camping
Through the story of creation, this themed camp will have you exploring the great outdoors through stories, math problems, writing adventures, and crafts that will make you come back for SMORE!
June 15 & 16 - Candy Camp
Candy is everyone’s favorite treat, and this fun themed camp explores candy from around the world, the secret ingredient to candy, and how to make healthy choices when eating candy. Place value and creative writing skills will also be reinforced through journal prompts and creating your own candy and candy store! Candy slime and a candy jar craft will add to the fun too! The story of the loaves and fish will be explored as we use our favorite sweet treats to learn about one of the many Jesus miracle stories!
June 20 & 21 - Coffee Shop
Everyone loves coffee, so why not see how your coffee shop competes with Starbucks and Dunkin Donuts at this unique camp! Stem comes into play as you design and paint your shop, select new coffee flavors, write an advertisement for your new place, and even turn coffee filters, cups, and sleeves into new useful resources! And coffee is best shared with a friend, so through Psalm 10 3:8, we will discuss God’s grace and the importance of friendship.
June 22 & 23 - Donuts Make A Difference
DONUT worry about if you will have fun in this camp, for we will sprinkle kindness through books, math centers, create a donut worry prayer box, and write special journal prompts, all centered around the bakery donut treat! Through stories about Jesus’ ministry, we will learn how we can show the world kindness too!
June 27 & 28 - Fast Food Frenzy
Do calories count? We will find out when we explore and read about nutrition, use our math skills as we practice ordering out, and learn steps in the writing process of making good food choices. We will have fun making a food wheel and foodie bookmark too! And what is the most important meal ever? The meal we can share at the Eucharistic table! Through the story of the Last Supper, we will complete activities and explore our understanding of the Blessed sacrament.
June 29 & 30 - America the Beautiful This patriotic camp is just in time for the 4th of July. Write about your 4th of July memories, calculate some patriotic word problems, learn patriotic songs, read about the history of America, and create the American Flag of course! Don’t forget to wear red, white, and blue. We love our country, and God loves us. Hear the story from the bible how God so Loved the world, that he gave his only Son.
July 6 & 7 - Forever Pets
Are you like St. Francis of Assissi, who has a strong love for animals? In this fun camp, we will learn about this saint, read stories about the responsibilities of pets, review math skills in our pet sitting business, write and create a special pet poem and craft, and even join in some fun activities about these special family members!
July 11 & 12 - We All Scream for Ice Cream
Let’s read about this special yummy treat, learn how it is made, use our math skills in our very own ice cream shop, write about our favorite ice cream and create some new fun flavors, and paint ice cream cones! We will also learn about a surprise snack..ice cream in a bag! Then we will discuss God’s surprises in our lives.
July 13 & 14 - Superheroes to the Rescue
What makes a superhero? Let’s read some short stories about superheroes, solve some superhero math problems, create a card for a real-life superhero, and have fun making a superhero in our craft writing project..other crafts will be created too! And who are real-life superheroes? Saints!

Times: 12 Noon until 3 PM on dates listed below.
Cost: $120 per 5 day camp
June 13-17: Who Was Jesus Biography Book Club
Through games and activities, read about the Life of Jesus from the popular Who was biography series for kids. We will create a bio prayer board, a poster about the life of Jesus, and end with a sweet treat resembling his precious gift to us: The Eucharist.
July 18-22: Book Club American Girl Series
Select and read about the American girl character, design and paint a bio prayer board about your American girl, participate in discussion questions about your American girl, practice comprehension questions, and end with a dollie and doughnut party! Independent reading of the American girl book each day may be required. Students can check out a book at the camp or bring their own. American Girl dolls are invited to attend too!
Payments may be dropped off to the RE office using the clear mailbox outside of the office. It is accessible anytime the church is open.
