The Prayer Shawl Ministry is made up of parishioners who knit or crochet prayer shawls for the sick, homebound, and others with special needs. Our prayer shawls are blessed by one of our parish priests or deacons. God's blessings go with each shawl. There is no charge for these beautiful hand made items.
Our meetings are held on the first Thursday of the month from 9:30 AM - 12 PM in room 174. Please check the parish calendar and bulletin for exact dates. Our online parish calendar is located on the home page of our website.
The Shawl Ministry is open to everyone - even if you don't have time to attend the meetings. Shawls can be created at home, on your own time, and at your own speed. Or perhaps you would like to join this ministry but don't know how to knit or crochet. The ladies in this ministry will be happy to teach you.
If you or someone you know would like one of these beautiful handmade items, please contact the parish office.
The Shawl Ministry periodically distributes shawls after Mass in the narthex. Please look for information in the bulletin.
